Jimmy and Biggee

So this is Biggee the turtle who wandered off a year ago only to be returned to us (we assume it's the same turtle, they do kind of look similar to one another) after the neighborhood dogs were discovered chewing on it. If you look closely on the one side you can just make out the white teeth marks. We will surely be able to identify him now.  Anyhow he keeps wandering off from time to time and I do worry. After all it has been in the high 90's the last few days and he is a water turtle after all- not to mention the raccoons and of course the dogs. The only thing we have figured out is perhaps he is a she laying eggs, or searching for that perfect spot in which to lay them.  When I looked under the avocado tree yesterday at what I thought was the neighbor's grey cat it turned out to be biggee on the loose again. We just catch and throw him (or her) back in.
