Latest work

Here is a new painting (12x23 inches) with a nod to the past, (mine this time). In going over some of my older works I found a quickie ink sketch I liked enough to color in with color pencil. I no longer have the original but based this painting on the photo I had with the addition of clouds, and a bit of gold leaf for the halo. 

     It has been an unusually mild summer heat wise so far. So being in the studio is pretty nice at the moment.
