Well as one of Maria Lucia's MANY assignments was to do a series on my headaches which lead me to this book. I have always like making books of things and figured this a long story so......... Here it is.

Classic migraine case study. I was hospitalized twice. Do they make you barf? I am way older so never got to try those new meds they have now, but I liked Anacin and Compazine. They will stop. And you probably won't have one if you are pregnant. I talked to a person who said ONE ELAVIL a day kept them away and if she got one it was mild. I once took ELAVIL and I took seven. Crazy doctor. Got fat. The dark room, quiet and the cool washcloth on forehead was helpful only to tolerate it. Growing older and having the hormones stop bouncing around cured them. Creative people, like yourself, get them worse I believe. Brain structure? Oooh, RED WINE: NEVER. And certain cheese, and for a while, chocolate, Glad that stopped.

thank u 4 sharing, I empathize with your pain ( I have RA - rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia but thankfully rare headaches ) but at the same time really enjoyed your little book pages!! I have depression and am bipolar. I can tell you don't be guilty about taking drugs. If you don't and continue with the HA you are wasting sunshine, dear, along with precious moments of your life. best, kathy
