Boy am I tired........

And really shouldn't complain as Jim and I just returned from an all expense paid trip (thank you thank you thank you Mom and Dad) to the Panama Canal. We got back Saturday night but I caught a cold mid-way through the trip and so am now finishing up work for this upcoming show shuffling and sniffling a bit as I go.

Anyhow just wanted to do a quick post to remind people to come and visit this Saturday at the opening of this show at HumanArts gallery. The reception is 4:00-7:00 p.m.

I've done some special ornaments and a giant deer cut out for the window display. I'll try to post photos soon of the whole thing when it's finished.

Here is some Bling for everyone...... or as close as I get to bling. I'm currently working on trying to figure out some simple Christmas decorations for the window at HumanArts gallery for an upcoming show in November. Interesting process. Right now I'm going in 5 different directions at the same time hoping at least one of them will work. Then if more than one works will they look dumb together?........

Save The Dates! May 1 & 2

I'm busy getting ready for my 8th Annual Spring Open Studio . So If you can save the date and come by that weekend. This year the guest artist will be Carmen Abelleira (she's the one that doesn't look like a chicken). Carmen is originally from Cuba and does some really great work utilizing lots of scrap wood tin and whatever she finds. If you are an Ojai person you've probably seen her work at HumanArts Gallery, and she used to sell little tin dresses out of the Sundance catalog. Anyhow there is a sampling of some her stuff below.
