My homage to Millet

Or should I say 'with apologies to Jean Francoise Millet".  This painting is loosely inspired by Millet's The Sower. It is also loosely based on a previous piece I did years ago. I had fun with this one. I do have to admit though after not looking at all at Millet's version for quite some time and now seeing it with mine I do feel a bit sheepish and silly.  (But obviously not sheepish enough not to share it with you). Mine is a bit like that senile old lady I see with the garish make up and clothing, all the while thinking she looks just dandy.
